VIDEO SOFTWARE ENGINEER #763918
Video Software Engineer will work on video software, firmware, and algorithms. focus will include video compression, decompression, and processing such as advanced de-interlacing, scaling, filtering, etc. Will also help with developing simluation models of designs that help take the idea to silicon. Join the Video Team in our quest for taking the chips for handheld devices to a new level in terms of video quality, functionality and features!
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- The ideal candidate will possess a degree in EE, Computer Science, Digital Signal Processing or related discipline.
- Excellent C programming skills a must.
- New/Recent college graduates okay. For candidates with experience, relevant industry experience would include consumer or PC video software or hardware development, digital video, image processing, or video hardware or software codec development.
- The candidate should be familiar with a wide range of current video and image processing techniques and digital video compression standards such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, H263P3, DV, and Windows Media Video.
- Other useful experience: ATSC, DVB, DVB-H, DVD, HD-DVD, JPEG, JPEG-2000.
