Designation System Analyst

Job Description In this position, you will be working on project teams with other System Analysts (SA s), Application Developers, and Project Managers (on larger projects). Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Analyzing, clarifying, and translating business requirements into technical specifications, working closely with Application Developers, and serving as liaison between the customer and project team. SA's must thoroughly understand the customer's business processes and the system functionality to design improved business processes and transactions, make data quality improvements, and perform any required configuration changes to the system. SA's should give preference to reusable applicable configurations, modules, and others over creating new solutions


* Developing use cases (such as, descriptions of the user's interaction with the system), customer scenarios, and/or prototypes (such as, demos) and are heavily involved in testing and troubleshooting the application


* Planning, coordinating, and conducting the testing and may developing training materials and troubleshooting guides


* Providing production support when the Technical Assistance Center is unable to solve a problem or you may own the support of new system functionality


* Working on project teams as a Data Quality advocate, providing subject matter expertise or leadership to ensure Data Architecture and Data Quality principles and methodologies are adhered to

Desired Profile You should possess a relevant educational qualification. Additional qualifications include:

* Posses excellent communication, presentation, listening and customer interfacing skills


* Proficient in Microsoft* Office (Word*, PowerPoint*, Excel*, Project*), Visio* Professional, and SQL*


* Proficient in Internet browsers and collaboration tools (eRoom*, NetMeeting*, Web Meeting Manager)


* Familiar with web and e-Business applications and Intel s Total Quality data Management Methodology


* Knowledge in Supply Chain Operations, Logistics, Warehouse, Order Management, Manufacturing, and/or Distribution would be an added advantage


* Knowledge in Data Warehousing, Data Mining algorithms and Micro strategy would be an added advantage


* Knowledge in Statistical tools would be an added advantage
