Among its many achievements that Tata Power can proudly boast of are the installation and commissioning of Indias first 500 MW unit (at its Thermal Power Generating Station, Trombay) the 150 MW Pumped Storage Unit at its Hydro Generating Station, Bhira, and environmental control systems like the Flue Gas Desulphurization plant. As a growth strategy , Tata Power has ventured into several greenfield projects in Generation. The 4000 megawatt imported Coal-based generating station at Mundra , Gujarat , 1000 megawatt Thermal Power plant at Maithon , Jharkhand are some of its recent involvements. It has got several other upcoming capacity additions / greenfield projects in Maharashtra , Jharkhand , Orissa , West Bengal.

The Company is inviting application for GET, 2007 to be recruited thru written test, GD and Interview.

Graduate Engineer Trainee

The GET will undergo structured Induction and Training for one year He/She can be posted in any part of the country for OJT after 3-4 months of joining in Projects or O&M depending on his/her aptitude and performance

The candidate must be first class in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, C&I, ETC, Mining)
The candidate must be a passout of 2007 from an established engineering college/institute

Remuneration Rupees. 300000
Allowances are added depending on posting Persons with PG qualifications in Engineering or MBA Power, PGDC will get higher remunaration
