Job description
We are seeking a Senior System Marketing Manager to a challenging position within our Entry Category Unit.
Entry Category drives consumer penetration and growth of mobility, and helps consumers bridge the digital divide particularly in emerging markets. The key consumer insight is that aspirational needs exist also at the lowest price across all consumer segments, requiring specially designed business models and total focus on cost throughout the value chain.
As our new Senior System Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the development of the Entry Category industry and our System Marketing platform. Furthermore you will be expected to:
Create market messages and deliverables for the target groups of Entry solution (operators, regulators, policy makers, industry analysts and the media)
Transfer solution and technology competence to the organization
Provide Customer Case support and sharing of best practices (e.g Total Cost of Ownership)
Support Entry Category product launches contributing with solution communication material and demo management
Contribute to the development and roll-out of guaranteed volume based thinking
Conduct Entry specific market analysis and follow up
Provide Industry Marketing support and participation in relevant fora (e.g. GSMA)
You will have an excellent opportunity to contribute to Nokia's success in the strategically important Entry Category business. You should expect approximately 50 days of traveling annually. The preferred location is in Copenhagen or HQ in Espoo Finland.
Requirements
The candidate we are looking for is passionate for mobile phones with a strong personal drive and will to achieve in this career position. Furthermore, to succeed in the position you:
Hold a M.Sc. degree in Business or Technology
Have several years of relevant experience from customer and/or partner interface: business development, sales and/or marketing across geographies
Have a solid track record and proven capability to deliver in a fast-growth complex environment
Have a broad view on Device Business, service business and related systems.
Have a good understanding of cellular and Internet technologies
Preferably have Local Entry relevant market intimacy and language skills
Experience in emerging markets would be an advantage.
Are fluent in both spoken and written English
You are a self-directed, fast learning person with excellent analytical skills. You have the ability to conceptualize and develop device and service marketing deliverables and programs to support the Entry business. You present information and key points clearly to be able to influence decision makers. Team working and networking skills is one of your key strengths enabling you to identify key parties and build relations to them. You are ambitious and have a personal drive for pushing things forward. Finally, you have distinct business acumen in terms of interpreting and applying customer, market and business information.
